Sally Quinn

Concord, NH – Sally E. Quinn, 88, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Presidential Oaks in Concord.

Sally was born on July 11, 1937, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Henry B. Morash and Sally (Pechura) Morash. She graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School for Girls in Boston and attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Sally went on to build a distinguished career in public service and banking. Sally worked for more than 26 years at The Bank of New Hampshire as a Consumer Investigative Officer before retiring. She later dedicated 15 years of service to the New Hampshire State Police, where she worked in the NCIC Unit.

A talented crafter, Sally was actively involved in the Merrimack County Artisan Association and proudly served as its president. She found great joy in creating handmade cards, which she generously donated to local nursing homes and hospitals. Sally was also a longtime and devoted member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Concord, where her faith remained an important part of her life.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband James Quinn in 2004 and her son-in-law, Harold E. Darrah, Jr. in 2023.

Sally is survived by her daughters, Deborah Darrah of Barnstead and Patricia Duff of Nashua; her brother, Henry “Butch” Morash of Canada; and her five cherished grandchildren: Jay Darrah and his wife, Heidi; James Darrah and his wife, Liz; Joe Darrah; Nicholas Perry; and Christopher Perry. She also leaves behind nine beloved great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy: Jacey Darrah-Downing, Cameron Darrah, Cadence Darrah, Tyler Darrah, Payton Darrah, Alexxis Perry, Konnor Silveria, Dahlia Perry, and Viktoria Perry. Sally treasured the time she spent with her family and took great pride in watching future generations grow and thrive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 11th 2026 at 10AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Loudon Rd, Concord. She will be interred with her late husband at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to NHDOC Canine Association, Care of Chief Jay Darrah, 281 N. State Street, Concord NH 03301.
