College student for Christian Urrutia
As a student who grew up in Portsmouth and loves my hometown, I’m worried if I’ll be able to come home given our affordable housing crisis and the lack of good-paying jobs for young people. Our state and country are in a mess and my generation is losing hope. That’s why we need progressive structural change, not incremental fixes when it comes to our next congressperson. That is why I support Christian Urrutia. His campaign is rooted in the idea that everyone deserves a “fair shake.” He is focusing on building more housing, fighting for Medicare for all and ending corruption in Washington.
Christian has pledged to not take corporate PAC money and he’s even called for all the candidates to reject super PACs coming to New Hampshire and buying millions in TV ads to trash other democrats. One of the highest spenders buying elections for their favored candidates is AIPAC. This is why I’m so disturbed to see Maura Sullivan has been endorsed by the Democratic Majority for Israel, an AIPAC-aligned group. I cannot trust any candidate who, while claiming to be against corruption, takes the endorsement of one of the main groups corrupting our politics.
I really hope I can afford to stay in Portsmouth and that New Hampshire can offer a real future for its young. Christian Urrutia offers a clear vision for us, and that’s why I believe he is the right choice for Congress.
