Concord juniors Maggie Taylor and Natalee Rowell were at the forefront of the Tide’s success in the regular season.

They were rewarded for their performances with mentions on the Division I first team. Taylor played wherever Coach Duke Sawyer needed her in the lineup or field. Rowell operated as the Crimson Tide’s ace and delivered multiple shutouts from the mound.

In Division III, Bishop Brady’s Ava Archambault was named Player of the Year and was joined with special honors by her coach, Angie Carey, who was named Assistant Coach of the Year.

Winnisquam’s Mark Dawalga was honored as Coach of the Year in Division III softball for his work shepherding the Bears to an eighth-seeded playoff spot and quarterfinal finish.

Pittsfield pitcher Alex Penney won Player of the Year. The sophomore reached 500 strikeouts earlier in the season and is aiming for 1,000.

Second Team: Madison Oppold, jr., Bow; Reilly West, jr., Coe-Brown.

Honorable Mention: Ryleigh Perry, sr., Merrimack Valley.
