Manchester Street tragedy awaiting
An open letter to Governor Ayotte and Mayor Champlin:
We have seen the paving crews out on Route 3 yet Manchester Street remains a crumbling, third-world road.
If our elected officials would take the time to drive this road they would see the lawsuit that is waiting to happen when a bicyclist, pedestrian or motorcyclist becomes a victim of the ruts, potholes and broken-up pavement. Cars routinely swerve to avoid the worst of the holes, putting anyone on the side of the road or even oncoming traffic at risk. Or perhaps some unsuspecting motorcyclist catches a rut and crashes.
Please consider the safety of one of our only routes into the capital city and fix Manchester Street before someone loses their life.
