Heather Deiner for Hillsborough 25

Heather Deiner’s path into public service is exactly the kind of leadership New Hampshire should encourage.

She didn’t begin by seeking higher office. She began by showing up for her community. Through volunteer work, serving as Ward Clerk, and later as a Ward 5 Selectman, she built relationships with neighbors and gained firsthand experience with the challenges Granite Staters face every day.

Like so many young families, Heather and her husband want to build their future here. They understand the pressure of rising housing costs, childcare expenses, healthcare bills and the growing difficulty of maintaining roots in the communities they love. Those aren’t abstract policy debates for her — they’re the realities she lives alongside the people she hopes to represent.

What stands out most about Heather is her belief that public service begins with listening. Rather than assuming she has all the answers, she’s consistently invested her time in understanding her community and earning its trust through action. That approach has shaped both her priorities and her commitment to making government more responsive to the people it serves.

Our Legislature benefits when it includes representatives whose experience reflects the lives of ordinary Granite Staters. Heather Deiner has demonstrated that commitment through service long before becoming a candidate. I believe she will bring that same dedication and working-class perspective to the State House. I encourage voters to support her.
