Vote for Christian Urrutia
Christian Urrutia is the strongest and most qualified candidate in the NH 1 Democratic congressional primary.
I first heard Christian at a meeting of the Pease Development Authority in the early days of ICE atrocities, where members of the public could speak against using the airport for ICE deportations. Christian drove 80 minutes from Moultonborough to Portsmouth for an 8:30 a.m. meeting. He spoke eloquently and passionately, without notes, drawing on his knowledge of constitutional law and human rights law and moved by a deep moral commitment.
Sometime later, hearing Christian speak at a small house gathering, I was impressed by his qualifications. He is an attorney with a Master’s Degree in International Relations and long experience in international law and human rights litigation. In the middle of a successful legal career, when in his thirties, he showed his dedication to public service by enlisting in the U.S. Army. In 2021, he was appointed special counsel in the Pentagon, where he worked to keep evidence tainted by torture out of court proceedings and to make sure that the military followed the Geneva Conventions. He currently serves as the defense attorney for New Hampshire Army National Guard members.
Christian Urrutia clearly has the skills and the courage we need now in Washington. I would be proud to have him serve as my representative in Congress.
