Concord hosted its annual National Night Out at Rollins Park on Tuesday, drawing together families, first responders and community organizations for an evening of partnership and fun.
National Night Out, now in its 42nd year, is a nationwide initiative held annually to build stronger ties between police and fire departments and the people they serve.
Other community organizations also attend, like the folks from the Abbot-Downing Historical Society who brought historic Concord stagecoaches for display.
The family-friendly event featured live music, displays of emergency equipment, K-9 demonstrations, a touch-a-truck experience and more.
Local businesses and community organizations set up booths to make people aware of the services and resources they offer.
