Wilmot, NH – Annette E. (Keyser) Stevens, 87, formerly of Jewell Road died Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen.
She was born in Andover, NH on February 5, 1939 the daughter of Harold A. and Georgianna (Fleury) Keyser. She graduated from Andover High School in 1956 and went on to work for the Farm Bureau for a couple of years. She had done secretarial work for the New London Hospital and then worked for Proctor Academy for 10 years. Annette also worked for the Barton Agency for 10 years and from 1995-2000 worked for New London Agency where she continued doing part-time work.
From 1998-2008 she wintered in Silver Springs, FL. Annette and her husband, Henry were members of Good Sams Club traveling with their RV and making many friends along the way. They were also part of Wilmot’s Farmers Market. Henry crafted his unique airplanes and tractors from recycled cans, as well as making birdhouses and Annette sold knitted and sewn items, especially beautifully knitted baby sweater sets. She was an avid reader, an accomplished knitter and enjoyed crafting. Annette loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Henry in 2024 and her son, Michael in 2008. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Budd Keyser and John Keyser and brothers-in-law, John Ireland and Howard Nowell. Her surviving family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Carol Stevens of Manchester; a daughter-in-law, Marie Pelletier of Colebrook; three grandchildren and their spouses, Caitlin and Nick Loving of Manchester; Zachary and Caeleigh Stevens of Holderness; Jake and Rachel Stevens of Campton; six great-grandchildren, Rosalind, Silas, Louisa, Casey, Benjamin and Leah; two sisters, Yvonne Ireland of Concord and Toni (Robert) Myrick of Willow Springs, MO; Three sisters-in-law, Marie Nowell and Nancy (Joe) Clark of Concord and Mary Keyser of Andover; a brother-in-law, Lee (Carol) Stevens of Keene; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in Bunker Hill Cemetery, Wilmot, NH.
