Cody York for NH House

I am writing to encourage Loudon and Canterbury residents to elect Cody York to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in Merrimack County District 4.

Cody is a 24-year-old lifelong Canterbury resident, who is prepared to represent a new generation at the State House. He is currently pursuing his graduate studies in public administration, so he has far more flexibility to serve in our almost-volunteer legislature that most young adults.

Cody is a moderate, thoughtful Democrat, with a sharp independent streak. He believes in listening to all sides of a debate before deciding what might work best for New Hampshire. He is committed to representing every constituent, regardless of political party, and embracing good ideas no matter which side they come from.

Among his priorities, he believes that all New Hampshire students should receive a solid and realistically financed education. He is a gun owner and strong supporter of Second Amendment rights. He wants New Hampshire to be a place where families can thrive. I trust that Cody would be much more aligned with the needs of Loudon and Canterbury than either of Merrimack 4’s two current officeholders.

We hope to arrange some local house parties for Cody, and he will make many appearances at both the Canterbury and Loudon transfer stations, where I encourage people to chat with him.
