Republicans are hurting NH
I just read the ridiculous editorial by Rep. Dan Innis. Firstly, I am amazed that the Monitor would publish such trash.
These Republicans in our state government are trying to turn New Hampshire into a” free state” location, no money for schools or roads or police or any services that we all need and use. New Hampshire is now 50th for state aid to education, that should be embarrassing and the Republicans are trying hard to eliminate any state income that could off set that.
The Democrat party has been responsible for reducing or eliminating the spending debt that Republican presidents have given this country. The Clintons eliminated it then Bush pushed it up again, then Obama brought it way down, then Trump brought it way up again to limits we have never seen (to quote the jerk).
We cannot keep eliminating all the forms of revenue that New Hampshire has and not expect property taxes to cover everything, which is the situation now. We desperately need to get rid of the Republicans we have in office and return to sane fiscal responsibility.
