Pappas: for Senate, for sll

On July 4, 1776, America declared its independence and put the power of government where it belongs: in the hands of the people. Our founders believed our rights come from who we are — not from a king — and that government only works when it answers to the people it serves. Two hundred and fifty years later, our democracy is being tested.

Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans have undermined our institutions, widened political divides, and turned our government into a get rich quick scheme for themselves and their corporate special interest backers. Congressman Chris Pappas has represented New Hampshire’s First Congressional District since 2019, working to make sure Granite Staters have a voice in Washington.

A lifelong Granite Stater and small business owner, he’s running for the U.S. Senate to lower costs, strengthen our democracy, and fight corruption. Meanwhile, John Sununu is running to advance Donald Trump’s agenda. Since losing his Senate seat more than 15 years ago, he’s cashed in with the same corporate special interests he served in Washington — and would continue to serve them if elected to the Senate, all while he personally profits from the policies that are hurting Granite Staters.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, it’s worth reflecting on the values that brought this country together — and the kind of leadership we want for New Hampshire’s future. Chris Pappas represents those values and that leadership for all people, and that’s why he has my vote for U.S. Senate.
