Concord, NH – John W. Page, 78, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026. Born in November 1947, John grew up in Bradford, NH, graduated from Simonds Free High School in Warner, NH, and was a long-time resident of Concord.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Page; his parents, Charles and Ruth; and his siblings Annie, Charles, Thomas, Anthony, and Jeanette.
He is survived by his son, John Page Jr. and his wife, Ashley; his granddaughter, Molly; his sister, Mary Seymour; his brother, Francis Page and his wife, Donna; and many nieces and nephews.
A skilled master electrician and machinist, John worked for many years at Page Belting and ultimately retired from Dolben Company in 2022. He was always keeping busy, whether repairing clocks, working on projects, or tending to his gardens. He especially loved lilies, and his yard was filled with beautiful flowers and a thriving vegetable garden. In his early years, John developed a lifelong love of cooking while working at the Highway Hotel in Concord. His family always looked forward to his home-cooked meals and the recipes he loved to share.
John was a faithful Catholic and a member of Christ the King Parish in Concord, where he enjoyed attending Mass on Sundays. He loved history and could often be found reading a good book, watching classic movies and westerns, or listening to music. In his later years, he also enjoyed studying Latin, reflecting his lifelong curiosity and love of learning.
Family and friends are invited to Bennett Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will follow, with a reception afterward.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Merrimack County Nursing Home for the care and kindness they provided to John.
John will be remembered for his gentle spirit, faith, curiosity, and love for his family.
