Running for NH State Senate

I am Kurt Webber and I’m running for the New Hampshire State Senate in District 2.

I am a West Point graduate, retired Army officer and have lived in Gilford for 25 years. I have dedicated my life to service, to include over 23 years in the Army with a deployment to Iraq, as an adult leader in the Boy Scouts, a Rotarian and serving on the Gilford School Board for nine years. I am also a co-founder of the Lakes Region Veterans Coalition and of Camp Resilience, which has run over 150 therapeutic retreats that have served over 1,500 veterans, first responders and their loved ones since 2014.

For the past 10 years, the politicians in Concord have passed legislation that has hurt families and small businesses across the state. The only way to fix the excessive partisanship, dishonesty and disrespect for our citizens in Concord is to elect principled leaders who are committed to integrity, civility, the Rule of Law and people over politics. I pledge to do this if elected because, although it sounds corny, I truly believe in the values of Scouting, the West Point ideals of “Duty, Honor, Country” and the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” and I will live up to these ideals to serve all of the citizens of District 2 and New Hampshire.
