Vote Maura Sullivan for Congress
I urge you to vote Maura Sullivan for Congress. Sullivan is the most highly qualified candidate. She worked her way through college on an ROTC scholarship, joined the U.S. Marines, deployed to Iraq and retired with the rank of Captain serving with distinction and earning a Navy Commendation Medal and a Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal with a Gold Star.
Subsequently she earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a second graduate degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and became an executive at PepsiCo. President Obama then appointed her as an Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs. She was then was appointed to be Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs.Her experience within the Federal Government provides her the skills to serve as an effective Congresswoman.
With all due respect her opponent, Stephany Shaheen (the establishment candidate) asserts that her daughter’s diagnosis of diabetes and starting a company give her the skills to be a member of Congress. Really? Having a daughter diagnosed with diabetes or starting a small business does not qualify Stephany Shaheen to be a member of Congress. Nor does being a member of a politically connected family.
In contrast, Maura Sullivan has genuine qualifications to be the most competent Congresswoman for NH citizens. She overwhelming possesses the skills and federal Government experience to be a highly effective Congresswoman for New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District.
