Some services of the Merrimack County government are still affected Monday, almost a week after a network security incident disrupted operations.
Notably, the county Register of Deeds cannot accept electronic material but is requiring paper submissions in person or by mail.
The incident apparently first disrupted law enforcement on Tuesday afternoon, when a county dispatcher notified officers in several jurisdictions that dispatchers could not access criminal data through the state’s IMC software. County officials say no emergency services were affected.
In a statement Monday afternoon, county officials wrote: “At this time, certain systems remain offline out of an abundance of caution, which may limit services. We continue to work with third-party experts to assist in our investigation efforts. “
