Double standards

“All men are created equal” in the U.S. Consitution. “God created man in his own image” from Genesis 1:27. Humans share roughly 99% of their DNA with one another. “All God’s critters got a place in the choir,” sung by Tommy Makem and the Clancy Brothers.

Except, there are a few folks, claiming to be practicing Christians, who seem to have doubts. That apparently includes our President, Secretary of War Hegseth and Solicitor General Sauer. They have filed an “urgent appeal” with the U.S. Supreme Court asking that 29 members of the military be immediately discharged because, I guess, they weren’t created in God’s image, or not created equal, or something.

A lower court previously ruled the termination violated the Constitution, but the administration doesn’t even want to wait to complete the usual appeal process. They want these apparently less than human beings out NOW!

Genesis 1:27, the Constitution, and our shared DNA no longer apply. And no place in the choir.
