It’s time to buck the system

Tired of being told how to vote every election cycle by a party that thinks they know better than you, or still believes that only the highest-funded candidates can win? We all know that until members of Congress stop taking grotesque amounts of money from their rich and powerful donors, we’ll never get the things we need — and that our tax dollars pay for. Things like universal healthcare, living wages, affordable housing and childcare, to name just a few.

Looking for a candidate that answers only to you and your priorities? Karishma Manzur is that candidate. She’s running as a Democrat for U.S. Senate against Chris Pappas. She won’t be beholden to corporate PACs or AIPAC that enables genocide on our dime. Per Track AIPAC, Pappas has taken almost $1 million dollars from AIPAC and the actual amount could be closer to $3 million once AIPAC spin-off group donations are included. Besides working to address our needs noted above, Karishma will also fight to ban big money in politics.

It’s time for voters to buck the system and actually be the change they’re looking for. Let’s vote big money out of our politics and show that a truly grassroots people-powered campaign can win here. Remember, primaries are our chance to vote for candidates whose values most align with our hearts and minds. Send a message to the powers-that-be and vote Karishma on Sept. 8. She’ll be a senator for everybody that can’t afford to buy one.
