Vote for the right NH-02 candidate
In these troubled times, which are well-defined by maladies like rising costs and debts, and the rise of socialism, there’s no shortage of questions to ask a Congressional candidate. But there’s one question that’s lingered most persistently.
Maggie Goodlander and Lily Tang Williams are distinct candidates. But to understand this question — and just how different they are — I need to take you down an old path more relevant than you realize.
The U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan was a catastrophe. We left billions of dollars in equipment, including guns, armored vehicles, drones, night vision goggles and aircraft. And so, we armed terrorists.
Jake Sullivan is someone Maggie knows well, because he’s the man she’s married to, who she stands by. And he was the National Security Advisor — one of the senior-most officials responsible for this disaster.
I could convince myself that Goodlander’s a beneficent champion for some worthwhile cause. But in the end, however successful I was, the final question would still haunt me: What kind of person stands by someone like that?
This is a candidate who will quietly accept what’s unacceptable, who will yield the road to the socialism many politicians are advancing. And the inevitable endpoint for us will be a terminal cancer: communism.
Don’t vote for the congresswoman who stands idly by and votes “present” in the midst of that darkness, from which she’s been shielded. Vote for the candidate who would lay down her life to stop what happened to her from happening to you.
