Penacook, NH – We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our mother, Rose Klucky who passed away on September 18, 2026.
Born in 1930, Rose spent her early years in North Adams, MA later moving to Enfield, CT & Pembroke, NH. Rose enjoyed her retirement years in Concord, NH before moving to John H Whitaker Place where she enjoyed daily activities especially bingo, live music, arts & crafts & many fun outings.
Rose was an avid Boston Celtics fan, wearing her favorite Celtics hat on game day while rooting on her favorite players Larry Bird & Payton Pritchard.
Throughout her life, Rose dedicated herself to caring for others working as a registered nurse in internal medicine, gastroenterology, geriatrics & finally retiring as a pediatric nurse after 52 years. Rose loved her patients & they loved her.
Rose is predeceased by her parents Felix & Teresa Vono & her husband George Klucky.
Rose is survived by her brother Joseph Vono, his wife Linda, her daughter Deborah Ricci, her husband William, her son George, his wife Karen, her daughter Kathy, her husband Robert, her son John, her daughter Chris, her wife Kathi along with 2 nieces, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren & 2 great, great grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held at Christ the King Parish 72 South Main St. Concord, NH on September 30th at 10:00 am. Following the mass a light luncheon will be served in the Activities building adjacent to the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rose’s name to The Resident Activities Fund at John H. Whitaker Place; 30 Borough Road Penacook, NH 03303.
