Liz Boucher is a proven school board member
Please join us in voting Liz Boucher to serve another term on the Concord School Board, representing Wards 5, 6 and 7. Liz’s hard work, insights and the enthusiasm she brings to her service on the Board demonstrates that she is fully committed to serving the public school students in our community. She has two children in Concord schools, so has a vested interest in assuring that Concord continues to provide quality education to all students.
Too many New Hampshire cities and towns, including Concord, are currently experiencing extraordinary fiscal duress as they struggle to adequately fund their public schools; this is the direct result of the State Legislature shirking their fiscal responsibility to support public schools. There is an unsustainable overreliance on property taxes to do the job. Also, NH’s Education “Freedom” Accounts (vouchers for private and religious schools and home schooling) are siphoning funds away from local public schools with a fire hose.
Until these huge overarching financial problems are solved with new leadership at the state level, we support Liz Boucher as a responsible steward of tax dollars in support of a quality education for Concord’s children.
