Quality state rep candidates in Districts 3 and 8
In District 3, Tilton-Sanbornton is William Lawrence, Jr. A lifelong Tilton resident, Bill is the third-generation owner of Bryant & Lawrence Hardware.
He has served on the Tilton Planning Board, Budget Committee, Parks Commission and Main Street Revitalization efforts. His priorities are government accountability, fair property taxes, adequate school funding, personal freedoms and local control.
In District 8 (Tilton, Sanbornton, Belmont) are “The Two Dons.” Don House, a 17-year Belmont resident, serves on the Belmont Budget Committee and is on the board of multiple nonprofits. His priorities are lower property taxes, saving our schools from practices that siphon money away from public schools, more entry level housing, maintaining our gun rights and keeping our healthcare between us and our provider and making it affordable again.
Don Giguere has worked extensively with veterans and the disabled, through the Veterans’ Home and Easter Seals. He believes the state, along with federal funds, should be a strong funding partner providing necessary resources for public education while reducing the property tax burden. Don strongly supports protecting our natural resources so future generations can enjoy the same New Hampshire that we have. A strong supporter of civil rights, he believes “We the People” must include every race, creed, nationality, sex, gender identity and physical/mental disability. He will defend LGBT rights.
So vote Blue on Nov. 3.
