Ayotte is Trump
Trump and his Republican Congress paassed that “Big Beautiful Bill” last year and downshifted costs onto the states. Read the Monitor Oct. 7 headline: “SNAP Benefits Increase Slightly; NH Takes on Additional Operting Costs.” SNAP is food stamps and the increase is $8 a month per person. The federal government used to pay 50% of the operating costs for this program, now the state will be responsible for 75%. In all likelyhood state costs will go up next year. Where is Ayotte getting the money that the Republicans have downshifted to the state? From me. I guarantee that what the Republicans downshifted to New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Governor and her party will downshift those costs onto municipalities and that means property taxpayers.
