Vote Liz Boucher for Zone B

I strongly support Liz Boucher for re-election to the Concord School Board, representing Zone B (Wards 5, 6 and 7).

As a member of the Middle School Building Committee, I have watched Liz engage consistently and ask difficult questions throughout the process. I have always found her to be curious, perceptive and direct. Those observations are why I trust no one more to get to the heart of issues affecting our children and our schools.

Liz joined the board after its initial vote to move the middle school to Concord’s East Side. She studied all the documentation on the existing school and listened to the many upset residents, including me. Since then, she has worked constructively to advance the project, balancing a safe, functional learning environment with the district’s financial stability. With little board support to move the school back to the South End, she worked to get the school built quickly, minimize costs and get students in the school sooner. Once the charter amendments passed, she worked to return the school to its existing location, reflecting community wishes and avoiding further delays and potential legal costs.

Liz consistently listens to residents on the board’s many issues while keeping students’ needs at the center of her decisions. The board faces many difficult choices, and Zone B needs a representative who weighs every issue carefully, asks hard questions, and remains focused on students. I urge voters in Wards 5, 6 and 7 to re-elect Liz Boucher.
