Have you ever wondered why a state with such a tiny coastline has a ship, of all things, on its official seal? Or what’s being built on that weirdly shaped construction zone you commute past every day? Or something important, like why did Concord’s mayors always used to have lots of facial hair?
Wonder no longer! Our newsroom is here to help.
We’ve just started a program, cleverly called Ask The Monitor, in which readers ask us questions related to the Granite State and we try to answer them, or at least provide some context.
If you have a question, just fill out this form on our website or visit forms.gle/7jfJAGpWW33pCLn77 and we’ll see what we can find. You can ask us anything, but we are primarily looking for questions without an obvious answer. More specific questions are more likely to be considered: “What does a Trustee of Trust Funds do?” rather than “What is the meaning of life?”
Our answer, or at least our attempts to find an answer, will be published in print and online and scattered throughout social media. So don’t be shy. Ask away!
