Preserving our tomorrow
I, like so many Granite Staters, am a lover of our environment and preserving what we have. In New Hampshire, we are lucky to have so many politicians who feel the same way, Dan Innis is one of those politicians.
I have been around Dan many times including going to his beautiful farm in Bradford. I have had the pleasure to listen to him talk about how much the ecosystem at his farm means to him. From the beavers, who keep the water table high and flood the field every spring, to the spring peepers who make you go deaf in May. From the fact that he did not want to add permanent fencing to allow for wildlife to move across the field and have access to the creek, to the fact that some of the most endangered reptiles call the fields and creek their homes on his property (I would know, I have seen the pictures).
It goes as a complete surprise when I hear ads attacking him for environmental issues. Dan does not support data centers; I know this for a fact. I have talked with him on this very issue. He understands and supports the moratorium and even put in a bill to that effect. Anyone who is telling you differently is lying to you. Dan is pragmatic and understands that wind farms do not belong in our oceans. Dan understands that the greatest environmentalists are we as individuals and not the government coercing us into unsustainable “green energy” deals. Our children’s futures depend on these decisions, and Dan is the pragmatic environmentalist we need.
