A Republican worth considering
Please consider voting for Lily Tang Williams for Congress. Even if you usually vote Democratic, she deserves a serious look.
At a time when many people believe Republicans have lost sight of ordinary Americans’ needs, Williams offers a different perspective. Having grown up in Communist China, she understands firsthand the dangers of concentrating power in government. She will fight to keep politicians from exercising unnecessary control over our lives — a principle that should appeal to anyone who values individual freedom.
Williams also recognizes that affordability is a major concern for working families. She supports eliminating tariffs that raise prices, reducing regulations that protect special interests at the expense of consumers, and ending the war with Iran and the enormous costs it brings. She would also work to reduce unfunded federal mandates that force local governments to raise taxes without giving taxpayers a meaningful say.
Housing is another critical issue. By removing unnecessary federal regulations that restrict construction and drive up costs, she wants to help expand the supply of housing and make it more affordable.
You don’t have to agree with a candidate on every issue to recognize when she offers practical solutions to problems that affect us all.
Lily Tang Williams wants to make life more affordable, protect individual freedom and reduce the burden government places on ordinary people.
