Enough

As the mother of three and grandmother to four, I tried to impart the difference between need and want, the concept of enough. That’s enough soap in the bubble bath, enough Halloween candy, enough screen time. The mothers of the billionaires don’t seem to have taught this. Despite having more money than most countries, let alone you or me, they always want more — more of our information, our water, our energy, our land.

When asked to give our tax dollars to rich families whose children never went to public school, Kelly Ayotte was happy to give them more. It was only after public outcry that she backed away when her rich donors wanted to build detention or data centers — and likely just so she could get reelected and give them more access to our taxes and resources.
Let’s not give her any more time as governor. We’ve had enough!
