New Hampshirites, Sununu not for you
John Sununu is not the Senator New Hampshirites need as we face a winter of sky-high home heating oil and diesel prices.
New Hampshire’s next Senator must stand up to Trump’s obsessive, unhinged pursuit of this disastrous war with Iran.
Even now, Trump is threatening to inflame the Mideast by dropping the mother-of-all bombs on Iran. Iran’s would retaliate by striking major oil refineries in Saudi Arabia, including Aramco, immediately spiking oil and energy prices.
With an entire Mideast in flames, diesel and home heating oil prices will jump from $6.20 a gallon, to $7-8 a gallon.
New Hampshire needs a Senator who will stand up to this President … John Sununu is not that Senator.
In his previous Senate term, Sununu was an enthusiastic supporter of the Iraq War, the last disastrous GOP War in the Mideast.
Sununu is unlikely to break with this President on this war of choice. His only criticism? “The Strait of Hormuz should have been kept open.” OK … but that doesn’t bode well for Sununu actually standing up to the President, and saying no.
The only way to open the Strait of Hormuz is to end the War; The only way to end the war is for Senate to stand up to this President.
John Sununu will not be a Senator who stands up to Trump.
A Vote for Sununu is a vote for continued, high heating oil, diesel and gas prices or worse.
Vote for Chris Pappas.
