The New Hampshire Attorney General’s office identified human remains found Saturday in Bow.

Justin Travis, 31, of Manchester, was named as the person whose body was discovered in a densely brushed area along South Bow Road, state officials said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has not yet determined the cause or manner of Travis’s death, pending further study.

A hunter discovered Travis’s body in an area crossed by overhead power lines and called 911 just before 7:30 a.m. Bow Police Chief Ken Miller said there is no known threat to the public.

Property records show Eversource Energy owns the parcel.

Social media posts show Travis was reported missing in early October.

The Attorney General’s office asked anyone with information about the death or anyone who was walking near the area within the last week to contact investigators at 603-628-8477.
