On Wednesday night at New England College on Main Street, the Listen Room Series continues with “Granite State of Mind”
and
the lethal combination of bluegrass, blues and old timey music, otherwise known as
Etna Old Time.
Etna Old Time is made up of Marc Shapiro and Billy Corbett, a couple of young gents with big brains, and they’re promoting their new CD called “
’Lo The Old Pine,” a smart, sweeping, well-constructed album jammed tight with banjos and mandolins and a level of harmonies that does not come around very often.
Come on down to NEC on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. for the free show and see what all the fuss is about.
