Bow

Cadet Alec Richard Tellifson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Tellifson of Bow, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 25. Tellifson graduated from Bow High School in 2015. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in Chinese and Asian history. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Infantry branch and is currently stationed at Fort Benning, Ga., attending the Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course. After completing his training. he will be stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, with the 25th Infantry Division.

Claire Mulvaney was named to the deanโ€™s list for the spring semester at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y.

Center Barnstead

Kayla Haynes, child of USCG Senior Chief Petty Officer William Haynes III, was awarded Coast Guard Foundation Scholarship. Haynes will attend the University of New Hampshire beginning this fall.

Concord

Matthew Bodwell has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award to Germany as an English teaching assistant. Bodwell will teach at the Alexander-von-Hum-boldt-Gymnasium in Konstanz, Baden-Wรผrttemberg, as part of the award.

Contoocook

Megan Mullins is fulfilling the Colby-Sawyer internship requirement this fall at the Cleveland Colby Colgate Archives at Colby-Sawyer.

Jacob Feinberg is fulfilling the Colby-Sawyer internship requirement this fall at the Lake Sunapee Protective Association in New London.

Hopkinton

Emma Rothe, a Hopkinton High School senior, has been named a commended student in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program.
