On Feb. 8 at 1 p.m., author and activist Meg Hurley will visit the Wilmot Public Library with her dog Dori to talk about her book, The Dog Who Ate the vegetable Garden and Helped Save the Planet. Written in the first person from Doriโs perspective, the book explores feelings about the vegan lifestyle, her ownerโs โdiatribesโ on saving the planet and compassion for living beings.
On Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Wilmot Public Library, author Sally Cragin will give a workshop on interpreting Tarot cards. Learn about the Renaissance origins of the Tarot deck, the meaning of the four suits and the Major Arcana. Snow date is Feb. 29.
