Coach’s quote: “We knew heading into tonight it would be an exciting game. Hollis-Brookline is a great team and they often play with an edge. Our back line and goalkeeper kept solving problems, and the rest of the team played responsible defense, limiting most of (Hollis-Brookline’s) chances to outside shots. Our attack was potent in waves, either directly or out through the wings. Tactics aside, it was a great mental performance by our guys. They dipped a bit in our last match, but showed solid character tonight. I believe that was the difference in the end; they stuck together, stayed positive and were forward-thinking. We still have work to do. We have another great match coming up against Oyster River to see if we can keep moving in the right direction.” – Coe-Brown’s Christian Gompert
