Travel on I-89 in the Warner-Sutton area is going to get a little slower as a road construction project continues.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says it will resume a reconstruction projectย on I-89 from Mile Markers 20.4 โ€“ 24.2, on Friday. The project could continue into June.

Weatherย permitting, construction will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and will require daily lane closures both northbound and southbound.ย The project involves final pavingย NB, rumble stripย installation and final pavement markings on both NBย and SB.ย ย ย ย 

Weaver Brothers Construction, Inc. of Bow, is the general contractor for this $15 million . M project which is expected to finish in early June 2026.ย ย ย ย
