■Monday night, violinist YuEun Kim and pianist Sam Hong will perform at the United Church of Penacook at 7 p.m. as part of the fall series of concerts presented in conjunction with Avaloch Farm Music Institute. In a week-long Avaloch residency, Sahun Hong and YuEun Kim will record several new arrangements of Chopin’s nocturnes for violin and piano, bringing unexpected colors and drama out of the piano masterpieces. ■On Wednesday, the Penacook Branch Library’s book club will meet to discuss John Green’s novel, Turtles All The Way Down, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the library on Merrimack Street. ■Concord Regional VNA is holding a Senior Health Clinic at Briar Pipe Apartments on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All Senior Health Clinic services are provided for a suggested donation of $10, however, services are provided regardless of a person’s ability to pay. ■Boy Scout Troop 90 will be selling popcorn at all masses today at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

■The Kiwanis Club of Concord will meet Monday at 6 p.m. at Red Blazer Restaurant, Manchester Street. The recent antique car show was very successful. The club will be planning the holiday activities such as bell ringing for the Salvation Army, Holiday Food Basket, supporting the Christmas Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting.

■Apple Hill Farm at 580 Mountain Road is open for the season selling many different kinds of apples, peaches, pears, and more. The farm is planning a special Military Appreciation Day on Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

■Concord Grange No. 322 will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the IBEW Hall, 48 Airport Road, for Fall Inspection. State Master Chris Heath will be present for Inspection. ■Today, the 13th annual Concord Multicultural Festival, presented by Parker Education, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the State House to celebrate cultural diversity.
