The 17th annual swap for cyclists looking to buy, sell, or donate a bike is returning to S&W Sports in South Concord this weekend.
Bikes can be dropped off for sale until 5 p.m. on Friday.
On Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17, theย swap will begin at 9 a.m. to provide pedalers with new rides while generating funding for the area’s regional cycling projects.
A portion of the funds goes to the Central N.H. Bicycling Coalition, a non-profit organization focused on improving the safety and accessibility of bicycling in the greater Concord region.
Throughout the years, the event has raised $130,000 for various initiatives, including the Merrimack River Greenway Trail, the Concord to Sunapee Rail Trail, and the Northern Rail Trail. They also helped with safety programming, school programs and establishing Concord’s share the lane markings, called “sharrow lanes” for short.
More information can be found on S&W’s (www.swsports.net) and CNHBC’s (www.cnhbc.org) websites.
