3rd annual Cocktails for a Cause raises more than $2,000

Thank you to some incredibly supportive restaurants in Concord for participating in the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire’s 3rd annual Cocktails for a Cause event. This event promoted Outreach to the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This outreach/fundraiser allowed local restaurants to create and compete for having “the best” drink and “most sold,” giving back 20 percent of the drink cost along with providing awareness of the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire. Local participating restaurants were: The Barley House, Cheers, The Granite Bar and Restaurant, O Steaks & Seafood and Lithermans Limited Brewery, along with The Tap Handle, Hermanos, The Draft Sportsbar, Revival Kitchen & Bar, and Chuck’s Barbershop. This year’s winner for the most drinks sold and “best drink” went to Chef Corey Fletcher at Revival Kitchen & Bar and mixologist Christine Hill for her creation of The Purple Pear Martini. This year, more than $2,000 was raised. The Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire is a nonprofit providing a 24-hour Crisis Line, emergency shelter for up to 23 women and children, court and hospital advocates, weekly support groups, individual client education, educational programs and in-person support. Contact the crisis line at 1-866-841-6229 or 225-7376.
