■Morrill Farm, at 33 Penacook St., will be open on Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. for beef sales all winter. The farm offers a variety of cuts including ground beef, sausages, stew meat, steaks and roasts. ■Don’t forget that Wednesday is Veteran’s Day! Please take time to thank your veterans for their years of service to our country. The Concord Veterans Council will place memorial wreaths at various cemeteries.
■Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Masses will be held indoors due to the colder weather. Saturday Mass will remain at 4:30 p.m. Sunday Masses will be at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. If the temperature is in the upper 50s then services will move outside to the Rosary Garden. The church’s annual Christmas Fair fundraiser will be on Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church parking lot under a tent. ■The Kiwanis Club of Concord will meet on Monday at noon at the Red Blazer Restaurant. The annual Rotary-Kiwanis luncheon will not be held this year. Call club president Mark Lester at 782-2502 for information.
■The Concord Knights of Columbus 110 will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Activity Center. The Knights are completing the renovations and rebuilding the Creche, which will be delivered to the State House Plaza on Nov. 27 and placed next to the tree.
■Concord Grange 322 will be sending cards to members of the Grange who are veterans in honor of Veteran’s Day. The Grange will be meeting via Zoom on Nov. 23 at 6:30 p.m. The Grange is once again providing holiday lights for the 40-foot spruce tree at the intersection of Pembroke, Loudon and Airport Roads.
■“Mary and Me” will be open at Hatbox Theatre on Friday. Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $22 for adults, $19 for members, seniors and students, and $16 for senior members. ■Don’t forget to sign up your business for the Heights Holiday Light It Up Decorating Contest. The entries must register with Donna Robie by Saturday, with all entries ready to light up on Nov. 21. First prize is $500, donated by People’s United Savings Bank. Second- and third-place prize money will also be awarded.
■The Bektash Shriners will be holding its annual Feztival of Trees from Nov. 21-20, virtually, this year. You can go to the Shriners website, view all the trees, make bids, buy tickets for raffles and more. More information will be coming next week.
■The Concord Christmas Parade is still a go. The parade route will be from Hazen Drive to Loudon Road, travel east on Loudon Road, turn onto Canterbury Road and disband in the old Sprague Electric parking lot. ■The Cole Garden Winter Farmers Market is open and runs on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon through April. The market features vendors from the area offering a variety of items including eggs, baked goods, vegetables, maple products, meats and more. Cole Gardens is located in the Heights on Dover Road, just before Concord/Pembroke town line.
■Concord Grange 322 would like to extend deepest sympathies to the family of Rodney Huntoon who passed away this week. The Grange will be draping its charter in his memory. Rodney was a Past State Grange Treasurer for 20 years, Past Master of Pineconia Grange, Merrimack County Pomona and was recently serving as Overseer for Concord Grange. There will be a graveside service on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Danbury at a cemetery just past Blazing Star Grange Hall.

■The Concord Parks and Recreation is offering a program called Got GAME? (gym, art, music, and entertainment) Participants in grades 3-5 will come together once a week to partake in traditional gym games, art projects or jam out to music. The program starts Nov. 18 and runs each Wednesday from 3:30-5 p.m. through Dec. 16 at the Green Street Community Center. Cost to attend is $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents. ■Fundraising and planning continues for the 35th annual Concord Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration in downtown Concord at the State House/City Plaza. The Piccola Opera is coming to do caroling at the State House Plaza and then will carol down both sides of North Main Street during the evening, returning to the Plaza by 6 p.m. for the tree lighting and fireworks. Other activities will include live music from Brian Waldron and band singing Christmas songs, horse drawn wagon rides coordinated by Tom Cusano, a petting zoo on the State House Lawn and a visit from Santa Claus courtesy of Concord Fire Department. Organizers are asking people to bring new toys to Stuff the State Police Cruiser for its Toys for Tots Campaign. This year’s tree is dedicated to law enforcement, firefighters and emergency medical services for their ongoing treatment for those with the coronavirus.
