Coming to the Laconia Opera House on July 17 is the New York City-based ABBA tribute band, Dancing Dream. Six members will cover the top hits that ABBA fans will know and love in two shows, the first show is at 4 p.m and the second at 8 p.m.
The group has done multiple tours throughout the United States and has received high praise for their use of harmonies, choreography, and costumes.
Created by the popularity of both the movie and broadway play Mamma Mia, the New York City-based touring act was founded by two European singers in 2009 as a tribute to the legendary Swedish supergroup. Every show electrifies audiences of all ages with the best hits โMamma Miaโ, โDancing Queenโ, โTake a Chanceโ, โFernandoโ, and many more.
The tribute band is only one performance scheduled out of many to celebrate the restoration and reopening of the opera house after 60 years. For tickets and more information, visit lakeportopera.com.
