Last Wednesday afternoon I walked on the rail trail in East Andover. The conditions were right for cleaning my mind: few distracting sounds, little wind and muted late autumn foliage.
Separately, two bicyclists over took me. One rang a bell and both shouted to announce their presence before racing passed. I yelled my appreciation for their warning and I today I applaud their courtesy and thoughtfulness.
