BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Corey Taylor got Harold Ramirez to fly out with the bases loaded to end the game, leading the Binghamton Rumble Ponies to a 6-4 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Thursday night.

New Hampshire took a 3-2 lead in the fifth after Lourdes Gurriel hit an RBI single, driving in Ramirez.

The Rumble Ponies took the lead for good with four runs in the sixth inning. Matt Oberste hit a three-run home run en route to the three-run lead.

The Fisher Cats saw their comeback attempt come up short after Emilio Guerrero hit a solo home run in the eighth inning to cut the Binghamton lead to 6-4.

Casey Delgado (7-5) went 6⅓ innings, allowing two runs and seven hits to pick up the win. He also struck out three and walked one. Kender Villegas⅓ (1-3) went one inning, allowing four runs and two hits in the Eastern League game. He also struck out one and walked one.

Oberste homered and doubled, driving in three runs in the win.

Guerrero homered and doubled for the Fisher Cats. Tim Lopes doubled and singled twice.

Binghamton improved to 10-5 against New Hampshire this season.
