Thank you to the Community of Hopkinton for your support and generosity throughout 2018. It is a symbol of a civilized society that we find compassion and provide care for those among us who are in the deepest of need. Remembering that it could be any one of us, or our own loved ones. Thank you to the many benefactors of the Hopkinton Food Pantry and Hopkinton Human Services’ many programs, especially Hopkinton’s Operation Christmas. Our Christmas Program served 77 households with a bounty of food this holiday season, along with 66 children and 36 senior citizens receiving gifts. Our Thanksgiving Program served 55 families. This great celebration of community was made possible through the efforts of many, many individuals. On behalf of all those who benefited to those of you who gave of your time, money and energy we extend our sincere gratitude. Thank you for supporting your community throughout the year especially the holiday season. It is your ongoing generosity that allows our programs to continue. The Food Pantry is currently serving 56 to 60 households on a weekly basis. The Got Lunch Program is providing food to 23 students. Our Back to School program supplied clothing and school supplies to 37 students in the fall of 2018. Our Fuel Assistance Program is supplying fuel to those in need on a regular basis.
