■A note from Jolene at the Transfer Station. As you may have noticed, we are finally getting caught up! The place is starting to look a little less “dumpy”. We have gotten caught up enough that I am ready to try to reopen the Rigid Plastic recycling. There is a new sign in front of the bay and I have attached a list (technically 2 lists), one that says what is actually acceptable in this program and the second is a list of what is not. If you like this program read the list because at least 75% of we were getting before was unacceptable, which is why we had to shut it down. If you have questions, you can call, email or stop in the office. If Christina or I are down in the yard working we are more than happy to answer questions, but do not approach or flag down the loader please, and one of us is always at the office ready to help you!
