Donald Trump didn’t know a thing about Project 2025 during the election but has implemented 80% of the agenda with the assistance of republican representatives, senators and judges. The easiest way to implement it is to have unqualified department heads do exactly what they are told.
During the first Trump administration, there were questions about many of his nominees but for the most part, they did possess the necessary credentials to be confirmed. This term, it’s a joke.
Can you imagine if a past president had nominated department heads or judges that lacked experience and/or expertise? Head of the Department of Education is barely literate. When asked questions, “she isn’t familiar with the material and can’t answer. The DOD head’s only qualification is having served in the military. Health and Human Services head has no medical training or background. Statements about vaccine harm are made like they are facts when all have been vetted and disproved multiple times. He has dismantled every independent/ bi-partisan group that’s using science to make informed decisions. Homeland security head holds up a decision for 72 hours to dispatch FEMA funds when Texans were looking for missing people. The Attorney General is supposed to work for the people but is lockstep with Trump and weaponizing the justice department.
All went through confirmation and swore they would not dismantle the branch they would be leading. None have kept their promise, and I would request they be removed from their positions.
