Concord, NH – Michelle Karney, 46, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at her parents’ home on Florida’s Treasure Coast after a long and courageous battle with Wilson’s disease.
Born on June 3, 1979, Michelle grew up in Groton, Connecticut, where she attended Fitch High School. In 1996, she moved with her family to Weare, New Hampshire, where she later graduated from John Stark High School, Class of 1997.
Michelle’s greatest pride and love in life were her two sons, Ashdin Provost and Mayson Karney, who meant everything to her.
She is survived by her loving parents, Robert and Dena Sanders; her sister, LeeAnne Sanders; her brother, Kevin Karney; her two sons; her beloved beagle, Lily, who will continue to be cared for by family in Florida; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
She had a special love for her dog Lily, who was a constant companion.
Michelle spent her final days at home, surrounded by family, where she was cared for with compassion and dignity by Treasure Coast Hospice. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice team for the exceptional care and support they provided.
Michelle will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and love for her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
