The next Science Cafe NH in Nashua will talk about ranked-choice voting, the most popular alternative method of voting around today. I’ve led a couple cafes about the topic in past years and the discussion is always lively. It’s a cool topic; you can go deep into math geekery, politics, social behavior – you name it!

The talk is Tuesday, June 16 starting at 6 p.m. at Soel Sistas Cafe, 30 Temple St., Nashua. Free, open to all.

Long-time blog readers may recall my 2019 article (here it is) in which I ran a ranked-choice voting experiment for the Democratic presidential primary, asking readers to send in ballots. It got more mail-in response than anything the Monitor has done for years, maybe ever.
