Concord Police are requesting that anyone with information about a shooting on South Main Street in the early hours of Sunday morning come forward.

At 1:20 a.m., a resident of the area around South Main and Sexton Avenue reported to police that a bullet had come through their second-story window. Another caller said they had heard gunshots, according to police.

Witnesses saw a dark-colored sedan speeding down South Main Street, away from downtown. There were no recorded injuries, and police said there is no ongoing danger to the public.

The Concord Police Department continues to investigate the shooting. Anyone with information pertaining to the incident may call the department at 603-225-8600 or the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100.
