Police laid out rows of empty Bud Light and Michelob Ultra bottles in a grid, removed from a tractor-trailer in Bow, after the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk.

The bottles were found in the commercial vehicle of Edgar Ramirez, 33, of Odessa, Texas.

Bow police were called to the parking lot at 12 Robinson Road on Friday after a report that a tractor-trailer was blocking school buses. The town of Bow owns the lot, which sits in front of the public works garage.

Officers found Ramirez, the truck’s driver, clearly intoxicated and unwilling to get out of the vehicle, police said. After a brief struggle, they removed him from the cab and took him into custody.

Inside the tractor-trailer’s cab, officers said they discovered approximately 170 beer bottles.

Ramirez was charged with driving while intoxicated, open container of alcohol, and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 26 in the Concord District Court.

Authorities said they had already been looking for the same tractor-trailer, which had left a truck stop earlier with a suspected intoxicated driver at the wheel.
