Pappas can earn my vote
In the NH Senate Primary, Candidate Dr. Karishma Manzur received 50,268 or 32.7% of the vote. She won that support with little money, and through her positions and proposed policies: ending the Gaza genocide, Medicare For All, a minimum wage increase, calling to abolish ICE and getting big money out of government. I was one of the 50,000 who voted for Karishma.
In contrast, Candidate Chris Pappas voted to send money and arms to Israel. In eight years in Congress, Pappas never sponsored nor co-sponsored Medicare for All. Pappas never sponsored a minimum wage increase. He voted to express appreciation to ICE and voted for the Laken-Riley Act, creating Constitutional due process violations for immigrants, including legitimate visa holders. Despite claiming he wants to “get big money out of politics,” Pappas has taken and continues to take dark money, including money directly from AIPAC.
Chris Pappas can earn the peoples’ votes by pledging to support Block the Bombs — supported by Amnesty International, Center for Constitutional Rights and Jewish Voice for Peace Action. He can pledge to sponsor or co-sponsor Medicare For All, and pledge to sponsor or co-sponsor Minimum Wage Increase. Pappas can pledge to support the defunding and restructuring of ICE, and he can pledge to STOP taking AIPAC and dark money.
I urge everyone to contact Rep. Pappas’ office at (202) 225-5456, and tell him he can earn their votes by supporting the above policies.
