Highlights: Bow’s Guerrette answered Goffstown’s first goal, but the Grizzlies came back with a quick reply of their own in the scoring frenzy that decided this playoff game. The Falcons got solid midfield play from Jocelyn Webber, Elizabeth Guertin and Amelia Coe, while Maddie Tibbetts and goalkeepers Anna Tsouros and Maddie Soucy led the defense.
Coach’s quote: “This was a rematch of last week’s squeaker loss (2-1). Both teams fought hard and Goffstown pulled off the win. Even so, I am proud of the Falcons. While they are disappointed they also acknowledge their growth. One player said, ‘We should be proud of ourselves. We’ve grown and stepped up.’ I agree.
